Karen Dent, CDA, is the Director of the oral health program within the Missouri Primary Care Association (MPCA); the Oral Health Network of Missouri (OHNM). Ms. Dent is a Certified Dental Assistant and Expanded Function Dental Assistant. She has served in her current position since 2003. Prior to her tenure with the MPCA, Ms. Dent was a full-time instructor in a Commission on Dental Accreditation accredited Dental Assisting school for 20 years. Ms. Dent is a member of the American Dental Assistants Association, the National Network for Oral Health Access, NNOHA’s Primary Oral Health Collaborative, and the Missouri Coalition for Oral Health.
