Dr. Susan Currey Lamb is a dedicated dental public health leader and Chief Dental Officer at Central Ozarks Medical Center (COMC). She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Dentistry and a Master’s in Education Administration from West Texas A&M University, blending clinical expertise with a strong foundation in leadership and program development.
Dr. Currey Lamb leads innovative efforts to expand access to care across rural Missouri, with her primary clinical site based in a school-based dental program in Eldon. Through a comprehensive care model that includes teledentistry, a mobile dental unit, a brick-and-mortar clinic, in-office pediatric sedation, and nursing home services, she and her teams provide high-quality care to patients of all ages, meeting communities where they are.
A lifelong learner and passionate community advocate, Dr. Currey Lamb is actively involved in advancing oral health at the local, state, and national levels. She is a proud member of the National Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA), Missouri Dental Association (MDA), American Dental Association (ADA), Missouri Coalition for Oral Health, and the Missouri Primary Care Association. Her commitment to service extends beyond her professional role through volunteer work with organizations such as Our Father’s Table, Missouri Mission of Mercy, Special Olympics Missouri, and she previously served as a United Way Board Member.
